Volunteers
Empower the Next Generation to make a difference
Parents, Youth Leaders, Local Supporters
Volunteers are vital in supporting student leaders as they boldly carry Jesus Clubs into their schools. Whether you’re a parent, youth leader, or local supporter, your encouragement, discipleship, and prayer empower students to lead with confidence. Your practical help and presence create a safe, thriving space where faith can grow and schools can be transformed.
Make An Impact
Walk With Student Leaders
Come alongside student leaders by offering encouragement, wisdom, and accountability as they step into their faith and leadership roles. You won’t lead the club—your role is to uplift and guide, helping students stay strong, confident, and focused on their mission.
Support Student Impact
Help organize club resources like snacks, Bibles, and flyers. Show up when you can—whether that’s attending gatherings, supporting “Donut Days,” or helping with event logistics. Your steady involvement encourages students and helps Jesus Clubs thrive and grow.
Bridge the Gap
Bridging schools, churches, and communities, volunteers strengthen the impact of Jesus Clubs and ensure students feel supported in every area of their lives. Volunteers serve students and help them make an impact in their school, family, community, and world.
Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of commitment is expected from volunteers?
Can volunteers lead the club meetings?
Jesus Clubs are student-led. Volunteers provide support, practical help, and mentorship by example, but do not run meetings or take control of club gatherings. At the student-leaders’ invitation and with administration approval, volunteers may serve at club gatherings and events and participate as guest speakers.
How do volunteers support students without taking over?
Focus on encouragement, practical help, mentorship through example, and engaging in ways student leaders invite, while letting students lead decisions. Your role is to serve and uplift.
Are volunteers required to share the Christian faith?
Many volunteers share the faith, but it’s not a requirement. All volunteers share a common goal: supporting students as they explore and live out the life, teachings, and example of Jesus Christ.
How can volunteers help when school staff resist?
Volunteers can advocate for student rights by understanding the Equal Access Act and helping students communicate their legal protections. Volunteers involved in any campus club must be afforded the same permissions and access as every other club. If outside volunteers, guest speakers, advocates, and community involvement are permitted for any club, it must also be permitted for The Jesus Clubs. If these rights are not honored, students, faculty, parents, and engaged volunteers can present these infringements and students’ rights to school leadership sincerely and respectfully.
